The History Matters Archive contains voluminous electronic holdings related to the 1963 murder of President Kennedy and the subsequent investigations of that crime. There are tens of thousands of pages of reports, transcripts, and other documents, as well as dozens of hours of audio segments.

These records come from the investigative bodies and from agencies of the federal government, including the FBI, CIA, Secret Service, State Department, and others. Some were published as long ago as the 1960s and 1970s; others were released in the mid- and late-1990s under the JFK Assassination Records Collection Act.
